Meet Ruth, impacting lives through yoga. With extensive experience, she shares her expertise, helping people release daily stress. Ruth's journey in yoga began as healing from trauma, surgeries, and cancer. She's undergone various yoga trainings in multiple formats. An E-RYT® 500 and YACEP with Yoga Alliance, Ruth mentors yoga teachers and conducts various teacher trainings. Her teaching has reached diverse venues, including prisons and private events, specializing in trauma recovery. Ruth combines 18 years of sobriety with Biology and Nursing backgrounds, to offer a holistic approach to yoga. Besides being a yoga instructor, Ruth is a professional artist and writer. What distinguishes Ruth is her adaptive, inclusive teaching. She offers Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Vinyasa, and Power Yoga, incorporating unique methods like Trauma Releasing Exercises and sound therapy. Ruth fosters a safe, playful environment, promoting self-awareness and mindfulness. Expect a compassionate, inclusive space with Ruth, where everyone, regardless of background or ability, can use yoga for personal growth and healing. She creates a comfortable, accepting atmosphere, tailoring yoga to individual needs.

MISSION STATEMENT
Yoga Studio

I believe yoga is for everyone, regardless of their background or identity. My mission is to create an inclusive and innovative space where individuals can explore yoga as a transformative tool for personal growth, healing, and self-awareness. My teaching style is personalized and adaptive, catering to a wide range of individuals. I work with trauma survivors and those with physical challenges, even if they think yoga isn't for them. Each person's yoga journey is unique, so I tailor my classes to address specific needs and goals, while ensuring a welcoming environment. I create a safe and supportive spaces for healing and empowerment. Through workshops and classes, I offer a holistic and inclusive experience. I focus on mind-body experience of yoga, guiding students to deepen their connection with themselves, explore sensations, and cultivate inner peace. I ensure a safe and informed practice for all. In addition to individual growth, I believe in community involvement and social engagement. I actively volunteer in various spaces to share the benefits of yoga with underserved populations.
