About
My yoga journey began with a single power yoga class (that I absolutely hated!), and eventually became a path that has helped me heal from physical and emotional trauma, surgeries, and cancer. As an E-RYT® 500 and YACEP with Yoga Alliance, I mentor yoga teachers and lead 200 and 500HR teacher trainings. I teach various yoga formats including Vinyasa, Trauma-informed, Restorative, Yin, Nidra, Hot Fusion, Power, and Sculpt. Integrating Trauma Releasing Exercises and Sound Therapy, I draw on my 19 years of sobriety, Biology and Nursing degrees to offer a holistic approach to yoga. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive, compassionate, and playful environment where yoga is accessible to everyone. I believe yoga is for all, regardless of background or identity, and tailor classes to individual and group needs, promoting self-awareness and mindfulness. My teaching style is personalized and adaptive, supporting trauma survivors and those with physical challenges. I focus on cultivating inner peace and guiding students to deepen their mind-body connection through a safe and informed practice. I am committed to community involvement and social engagement, volunteering to share yoga's benefits with underserved populations. Join me on this transformative journey of healing and self-discovery through yoga.
